Olivier Delrieu, MD, is specialised in neurology, was trained at the Faculty of Medicine of Lille, France. He has a degree in human genetics, received at the Pasteur Institute of Paris.

He obtained an academic experience in genetic research in several INSERM units in France. Then, he joined GSK in London, and served successively as global pharmacogenetics advisor and disease genetic project leader in neurology and gastro-enterology, clinical partner to director of Genetic Utility and Research Statistical Unit and director in the Neurosciences Medicine Development Center.

Olivier's personal interests are in the enablement of integrated analysis of clinical, environmental and genetic data, for the identification of susceptibility factors of complex phenomena. Olivier co-developed 'taxonomy3', a mathematical tool providing an analytical framework for the multivariate analysis of high dimensional datasets and complex problems.

Olivier joined PGXIS in Sept 2008 as Head, Clinical Sciences. He is in charge of the medical governance of clinical studies, responsible for medical and genetic aspects of the programmes and studies, and supports the board to identify pharmacogenomic opportunities.
